Today I prepared Idiappam for breakfast nad few Idiappams were left out. So i tried this simple recipe to have for evening and it turned out great.
INGREDIENTS:
Idiappam - 6
Onion - 1
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal (Black Gram) - 1/2 tsp
Channa Dal (Bengal Gram) - 1/2 tsp
Dried Red Chillies - 5
Curry Leaves - 1 strand
Salt - To Taste
Oil - As Required

STEPS:
- In a pan, heat oil and add Mustard seeds. Once it splutters, add Urad dal and channa dal. Once it becomes golden yellow color, add Curry leaves and Red Chillies.
- Add Onion and fry till it becomes light brown color.
- Add Idiappam pieces and stir well till the ingredients mixes well with Idiappam.
- Add Salt to taste and serve hot.
