Lemon Rice

Cooking time : 10 mins
Serves           : 2

During my school days and college days, i used to have this as my lunch box meal atleast twice a month. I love to have this with potato fry.



INGREDIENTS:
Cooked Rice                    2 cups
 Lemon                            1
Turmeric powder              1/2 tsp
Mustard                           1/4 tsp                  
Black gram                       1/2 tsp
Bengal gram                      1/2 tsp
Green chilli                        2
Dry Red chilli                     4
Curry leaves                      1 strand
Chopped ginger                  1/2 tsp


STEPS:

  1. Mix lemon juice, turmeric powder and salt and keep it aside.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and add Mustard, Black gram, Bengal gram and once it turns golden brown, add Green chilli, Red chillies, curry leaves, ginger and remove from the flame.
  3. Mix the items from Step 1 and Step 2 gently.
  4. You can also add peanuts for additional taste.
