Masala Puffed Rice

It is really a difficult task to get a masala puffed rice freshly available. In most cases, masala Puffed rice in packets wont be fresh. But this is very easy to make at home. This is a delicious and Simple irresistible super quick recipe which will definitely be your favourite during tea time. Just give a try.




INGREDIENTS:
Puffed rice                                         3 cups
Dry Red chillies                                 6
Garlic cloves(cut lengthwise)              6                
Curry leaves                                      2 strands
Turmeric powder                               1/2 tsp
Chilli powder                                      1 tsp
Salt                                                     To taste
Oil                                                       2 tbsp

STEPS:

  1. Heat the oil in a vessel and add Red chillies and Curry leaves.
  2. Add Garlic cloves and fry for a min till the garlic smell comes.
  3. Add Puffed rice, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt. It is very important to cook in a low flame else the puffed rice will burn.
  4. Stir the puffed rice slowly in low flame till the turmeric powder is evenly distributed and remove from the flame.
